Dear Leader,

One of the many titles that Kim Jong-il went by is ‘Dear Leader’. I drew this image of a stack of letters written by the people of North Korea. I deliberately chose the ink color to be red, to symbolize the sweat, blood and tears that North Koreans went through / had to go through. They are desperate for change, and they want their leader to pay attention to their plight. Except who knows how many more bloodstained letters are required before their leader actually takes notice?
