Brothers and sisters

The DMZ was created as a buffer zone following the ceasefire in the Korean war in 1953. It is approximately 2.4 miles wide and 155 miles long, and is considered one of the last vestiges of the Cold War.

Panmunjom is said to be the world’s most heavily armed border, with both South Korean and North Korean guards on alert at all times, keeping watch over any possible attacks.

The only thing differentiating the two is the color of their uniform.

Isn’t it somewhat sad and ironic that these two Koreas are at war with each other?

Who knows? Maybe these guards that are at loggerheads with each other are related? A long lost family member or relative?

But as long as the two Koreas are at war, and they wear these uniforms, they’ll probably never know.
